The microscope includes a 45º inclined viewing brain that can be rotated by means of 360º and includes two diopters (+/-5mm) on both eyepieces for easy focusing. The objectives are generally 1x/3x objectives, which together with Widefield 10x eyepieces provide zoom powers of 10x and 30x - ideal for PCB inspection software. The microscope is actually professional grade and built of strong metal alloys using a generous 12 inches of clearance to the starting. It offers standard working distance of 3.5" improving to 57/8" with an reliable 0.5x barlow lens plus a maximum working range of 11" with a 0.3x barlow lens.
